In response to customer demands for a lightweight Super Sport Model, Korth developed the Super Sport ULX. The ULX features the same functional characteristics as the standard model Super Sport STX, with a few enhancements. ULX stands for Ultra Lightweight and while this pistol still weighs in at 2.72 lbs, it is 15 ounces lighter than the standard model Super Sport. This weight reduction is achieved through the use of T6 Aluminum in the Barrel Shroud area that has been skeletonized for maximum weight savings. The rail section has been anodized red to provide durability and an eye-catching appearance. The proven design and engineering of the Super Sport STX internals are maintained with the ULX, as it is also equipped with the roller bearing trigger system that shooters love. The ULX model features matching Hal Swigget wood grips that have been skeletonized internally for further weight savings.
