The low recoil and cost effective nature of the cartridge make it ideal plinking cartridge. Ruger is excited to offer a new semi auto pistol as versatile as the cartridge it's chambered in, the Ruger SR22! The SR22 features a polymer frame with interchangeable rubberized grips for an almost custom fit. The aero-space grade aluminum slide features serrations on the front and rear for better grip and slide manipulation while the dovetailed high visibility three-dot sight system features a fixed front sight and rear sight which is adjustable for both Windage and elevation. Moreover the Ruger SR22 has a light double action and crisp single action trigger pull with an external hammer that features a rounded spur for easy cocking. An ambidextrous manual thumb safety/decocking level and ambidextrous magazine release are all standard features.
