I've owned both the Taurus 4" model 66 and the Smith&Wesson 4" model 66 in .357 Magnum and loved both. The quality appeared to be equal as well as the accuracy. Neither ever showed any signs of wear or failures. The Taurus is perfect for shooters and hunters on a tighter budget. I highly recommend it in any barrel length.
